Hardware Operation Specialist (full-time)

Job responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of large-scale automated sorting equipment to ensure stable and efficient performance.

• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on sorting machines and related automation systems to minimize downtime.

• Respond promptly to unexpected equipment failures, perform on-site repairs or coordinate with external technical support to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and system upgrades of new equipment.

• Record equipment status, maintenance activities, and spare parts usage to build and maintain comprehensive maintenance logs.

• Analyze root causes of equipment failures and propose improvement suggestions to optimize maintenance processes and operational efficiency.

• Maintain close communication with Operations, IT, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration between equipment and systems, meeting business needs.

• Participate in the development of standard maintenance procedures, emergency response plans, and safety operation protocols to enhance the overall maintenance management level.

Job requirements

• Associate degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of automated equipment or logistics sorting systems, with a solid understanding of common sorting machine structures and principles.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems; able to read circuit diagrams and proficient in using common repair tools.

• Strong problem analysis and hands-on troubleshooting skills, with a high sense of responsibility and safety awareness.

• Willing to work in shifts, including night shifts or on holidays.

• Good team spirit, excellent communication and coordination skills, and capable of writing maintenance reports and documentation.

• Experience in maintaining automation equipment in large logistics centers or warehouse facilities is a plus.

• On-site assembly and disassembly experience is highly preferred.

• Holding an electrician license or other relevant operation certificates is a plus.
